Improving the languages skills of students in higher education institutions is a priority. Language learning plays a fundamental role in the construction of citizenship, enriching the personality and openness to the world. It also enhances the employability of young graduates in France and abroad.
A decree from the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation was published in the Official Journal of 03/04/2020. Candidates enrolled in national bachelor’s degrees, professional or vocational degrees and a university degree in Technology must now apply for an English-language certification, organised by an external body.
